Shouguang Weidong Chemical Co., Ltd. (referred to as Weidong Chemical) was founded in 1956. It was originally a national large-scale backbone salinization enterprise - Shouguang Weidong Salt Factory. It was restructured and renamed on December 27, 2003, and registered on February 2, 2004 with a registered capital of 50 million yuan. It is located in the west of Yangkou Town, Shouguang City. The company currently has a production capacity of 3000 tons/year of bromine, 1700 tons/year of decabromodiphenyl ether, 2000 tons/year of N, N '- ethylenebis (tetrabromo) phthalimide, 5000 tons/year of decabromodiphenylethane, and 5000 tons/year of bromopropane.

After the dust is treated with a bag filter and meets the standard, it is discharged into the tail gas of 7, N, N '- ethylenebis (tetrabromo) phthalimide. There is a spray absorption system for high-altitude emissions.
