P-N Intumescent Flame Retardant WD1000 for Polypropylene
WD1000 is a halogen free intumescent flame retardant, mainly including APP and additives. The product meets the EU RoHS directive requirements. WD1000 which can be used in PP, PE, EVA and other polyolefin resin, has the characteristics of good flame retardant effect, low smoke, non-halogen, good dispersion, little effect on mechanical properties. Using WD1000 in polypropylene can pass the test of UL94 V-0 (1.6mm), UL746C test (70℃x168h boiled experiment) can still reach UL94 V-0
(3.2mm). WD1000 does not contain an anti-dripping agent (Suggest to add 2-3%. ).

Note：
1.Don’t add any kind of filling powder such as:talcum powder,calcium carbonate,magnesium hydroxide,aluminum hydroxide.These substances will affect the flame retardant performance.
2.The processing temperature of twin screw extruder should not be too high so that it can avoid decomposition of the flame retardant resulting in foaming.
